Bluebonnet Camp

The librarians at Murchison and Riojas kept students reading this summer at Bluebonnet Camp. The children had fun while keeping up their reading skills. The children met daily for a week to focus on a book from the the Texas Bluebonnet Reading List. Highlights included making and eating grasshopper pie which thankfully had no grasshoppers to crunch and making bird feeders after studyng about the Sparrow War in China.
